Some would say Lincoln Kent is a chip off the old block, others that he has improved the design. He lives and breathes Estate Agency and has carved out a 19 year path specialising in Gerrards Cross and the surrounding area. Born and bred Gerrards Cross, Lincoln attended Kingscote pre-preparatory School, and then Thorpe House Prep, and onwards to Pangbourne College. Working in partnership with his brother Leicester and supported by Adrian Tendell together with consultants Trevor Kent and Michael Phillips, Lincoln, in his own words offers âa refreshing and competitive edge to property sales and lettings in the old home townâ.
Leicester Kent (another ‘chip off the old block as Trevor’s third son), exudes calm efficiency and gentle charm with over 14 yearsâ experience in both Gerrards Cross and the surrounding areas. He focuses deeply on the task in hand and is an accurate, reliable and trustworthy agent. Very Gerrards Cross orientated, he was educated at Kingscote and Gayhurst schools locally ‘then on to Shiplake College where he excelled at cricket and was no mean rugby player’ and continues to live locally with his wife Kerry.
Adrian Tendell has over 18 years’ of experience, with his methodical mind and excellent professional skills. Previously with a major household-name agency group, he decided the independent route was more to his liking where his outstanding attention to detail was recognised by colleagues and clients alike. When not successfully selling for Trevor Kent & Co, he is never happier than when playing tennis for Gerrards Cross and no doubt looking forward to the day his two sons are old enough to wield racquets too!
Trevor Kent, Former President of the National Association of Estate Agents and a long-term media pundit, created Trevor Kent & Co in 1971 following 5 years of training at two Gerrards Cross Chartered surveying firms. Local property looms large in generations of his family, his father having been part of the renowned Gerrards Cross builders Y J Lovell since 1930, and his motherâs family included a Bailiff to The Duke of Somerset at Bulstrode in the 1850âs.  Trevor now sits painfully on his laurels, such as they are, and watches the next generation succeed.
Michael Phillips took to Estate Agency almost as soon as he could re-wind a tape measure. He was classically trained with Chartered Surveyors John Bedford & Company in Uxbridge, had a quick look at commercial property with the massive firm Healey & Baker in central London and finally became sales manager of multi-branch agents Farr Bedford throughout Middlesex. On a fateful day in 1979 he joined his old friend Trevor Kent who had set up his eponymous agency in 1971 and was desperate for Michaelâs help and support. Thus he has unrivalled experience of the Gerrards Cross property market for over 30 years. Michael was a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and much looks forward to his consultancy along with Trevor as the âladsâ take the reins.
